Baghdad, The Federal Integrity Commission in Anbar announced the arrest of one of those accused of impersonating the director of the Commission’s investigation office in the governorate to achieve personal goals.

The Commission said in a statement, ‘The Government Information and Communications Office reported, while talking about the operation that was carried out based on a judicial memorandum, that the Commission’s investigation office in Anbar Governorate received information indicating the presence of a person impersonating the office’s director, and bargaining with some people, for the purpose of organizing and carrying out transactions for people with disabilities in Anbar in exchange for sums of money.’

It added, “A team from the Anbar Investigation Office, immediately after obtaining the judicial order, set up a tight ambush for the accused, and managed to arrest him red-handed while receiving a financial sum of approximately one million dinars, in exchange for easing transaction for a citizen with
a disability.”

It explained that “the team organized a formal seizure report on the operation, which was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Resolution (160 of 1983), in order to present it, along with the accused to the competent investigating judge, to take appropriate legal measures and decide the fate of the accused.
