The Israeli newspaper “Maariv” reported that following the security tensions in the north, it was decided to close the airspace from the Hadera line to the north for 24 hours.

The newspaper quoted a military official as saying that “the airport authority issued a directive on their behalf in this regard, and it was decided to close the airspace from the Hadera line to the north.”

For his part, the spokesman for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, said that “there are no changes in the policy of protecting the home front. The IDF is assessing the situation at this hour, and if it is decided to make amendments, the public will be informed through the platforms of the IDF and the Home Front Command, and work must be done in accordance with the instructions of the Home Front.”

Yesterday, Tuesday, an Israeli raid targeted a building in the city of Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, targeting Fouad Shukr, the senior military advisor to the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezboll
ah, Hassan Nasrallah.

Information is still conflicting about Shukr’s fate, as Talal Hatoum, a member of the political bureau of the Amal Movement, confirmed in a press statement, and other sources that the Israeli assassination operation failed. Meanwhile, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee confirmed that Israeli forces killed him. Hezbollah’s media relations issued a statement today, Tuesday, saying that “Shukr was present in the building when it was targeted, and civil defense teams are working to remove the rubble. We are still waiting for the results that those concerned with this operation will reach regarding the fate of the great leader, so that we can build on what is required.”
