Jerusalem – Ma’an – The Jerusalem Electricity Company issued a statement clarifying the termination of work with one of the companies that manages commercial relations between the company and other electricity charging centers.

We would like to inform you that the Jerusalem District Electricity Company has decided to terminate the contract with Superphone Company, which was managing the commercial relationship between us and you. This decision came after the company received many complaints from you and subscribers about the lack of meter charging and bill payment services in many charging centers due to the lack of sufficient balances for this through Superphone Company, despite the charging centers fulfilling their obligations.
After a careful review and verification of these complaints and field visits to man
y charging centers, we have confirmed the validity of these complaints, which is considered a clear violation of the commercial agreement concluded with Superphone Company. Accordingly, we have sent an official notification to Superphone Company and given it a one-month deadline to rectify the situation, improve performance, and provide the necessary balances for the charging centers to serve subscribers. Unfortunately, Superphone was unable to fulfill its obligations within the specified period, and the suffering of citizens and merchants continued, which prompted us to terminate the commercial relationship with it in accordance with the law in order to preserve the interests of citizens in the first place, as well as to facilitate the charging centers obtaining the necessary balances to complete the meter charging operations and pay bills, noting that this step will not affect the rights of any of the parties.

vided in the field of charging centers during their years of work with us.
Here, we would like to reassure you that as of 08/11/2024, you can contract directly with the Jerusalem District Electricity Company without the need for an intermediary company, while confirming that you will continue to receive the same benefits that you were receiving through the intermediary company, which ensures the continuation of fruitful cooperation between us.
Finally, we emphasize that all the abuse and incitement against the Jerusalem Company that has been circulated on social media sites is nothing but fabrications that only serve narrow personal interests that do not consider the interests of citizens and merchants.
