Today, Hammoud Al-Naqib, the head of the Social Affairs Committee of the Local Council in the Capital Sanaa, launched the 15th charity exhibition for the free distribution of clothing to the poor and needy, commemorating the Prophet’s birthday.

The exhibition, organized by the Diamond Foundation for Development in collaboration with civil society organizations and philanthropists, aims to assist 300 impoverished and needy families by distributing clothing to their members across various age groups.

The President, accompanied by Nabil Rajeh, the Director of NGOs and Institutions at the Municipality, received a briefing from Taha Al-Radhi, the President of the Foundation. Al-Radhi detailed the Foundation’s various developmental and social initiatives, highlighting the organization of this charitable exhibition aimed at assisting impoverished and needy families.

The Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee commended the dedication of the Foundation’s staff and volunteers for their charitable work supporting n
eedy and impoverished families. He highlighted the Foundation’s year-round activities and projects, particularly the initiative to collect and distribute clothing to the poor.

He appealed to businessmen, philanthropists, and civil society organizations to back and embrace charitable and developmental initiatives designed to assist impoverished and needy families and to mitigate their hardships.
