Doha: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB), represented by the Institute of Public Administration, organized Thursday the Institute of Public Administration Meeting for the year 2024, based on its commitment to the third National Development Strategy 2030-2024.

This meeting brought together training officials from various government agencies in the State of Qatar with the aim of enhancing cooperation and sharing visions and directions that support the achievement of national development goals.

Addressing the meeting, Acting Director of the Institute of Public Administration, Maha Masoud Al Marri, said the meeting enhances the role of training in building the capacities of government sector employees, as achieving sustainable development in the State of Qatar depends primarily on developing national competencies.

The meeting focused on discussing the role of the Institute of Public Administration in developing human capabilities in the government sector by providing specialized training
programs that are in line with the needs of the state and the aspirations of government sector employees.

It also included presentations and discussions on the most prominent achievements and initiatives launched by the Institute of Public Administration, reviewing projects and future directions, and providing a comprehensive vision on the national plan for training and career development.

The Institute of Public Administration meeting is an important step towards achieving common goals in enhancing competencies, developing administrative capabilities, and establishing the foundations for fruitful cooperation to build a promising future.
