Undersecretary of Hodeida Province Amer Muthanna on Monday launched the distribution of cash assistance to families of flood victims in the eastern districts of the governorate, with support from Yemen Mobile Company.
Representatives from the local authority and Yemen Mobile Company began distributing one million Yemeni Riyals to each of the eight families who lost loved ones in the floods.
During the distribution in Bajel district, the Undersecretary and the Director of Bajel district praised Yemen Mobile Company’s humanitarian initiative to support the bereaved families, alleviating some of the suffering caused by the disaster.
Director of Public Relations at Yemen Mobile Company Nour Al-Din Wahas announced the commencement of the second phase of aid distribution to the flood victims in Hodeida.
Wahas emphasized that providing cash assistance to affected families is part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility, with a focus on supporting vulnerable groups in society.
