SANA’A -SABA: The Capital Sana’a Post Office branch in Sana’a organized a cultural event on Tuesday in celebration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

Deputy Minister of Education for the Capital Sana’a Mohammed al-Banous emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth of the best of creation, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He noted that Allah honored the Prophet with the final message and elevated his name, as stated in the Quran: “And We have elevated for you your renown.”

Al-Banous also highlighted significant moments from the Prophet’s life, filled with struggle, support for the oppressed, and the establishment of a just Islamic state, bringing people from darkness to light.

General Manager of the Capital Sana’a Post Office Ammar al-Seddah emphasized the greatness of this occasion, pointing out that the celebration of the birth of the Prophet has spread across Yemen, both officially and popularly.

This reflects the deep historical connection between the
Yemeni people and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He explained that this celebration comes during extraordinary times for the Islamic nation, necessitating adherence to the Muhammadan way, which is the path to salvation from the oppression and tyranny faced by the Islamic nation.

Al-Seddah mentioned that reviving the concept of jihad is the means to support the Islamic nation, especially in light of the genocide and brutal crimes being committed against the people of Gaza by the occupying Zionist entity.

He praised the Yemeni armed forces for achieving miracles and surprises that exceeded American expectations, defying their power and fleets. Cultural activist Salim al-Qays addressed two key moments in the Prophet’s life filled with guidance and generosity.

He pointed out the Prophet’s patience during the early years of the Islamic call, specifically during the third year when he faced a siege and boycott from the Quraysh.

The second key moment was the victory at the conquest of Mecca. Al-Qays stressed that
boycott is a weapon we must use against the enemies of the Islamic nation, and that patience and steadfastness lead to eventual victory, which is the path we must follow in confronting the Zionists and their allies.

The event included a poetic performance, a musical operetta, traditional Bura’a dances, and a popular Zamil chant in honor of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
