SANA’A -SABA: The Capital Sana’a on Tuesday organized a speech event in Sana’a to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

In his speech, Capital mayor Hamoud Ubad highlighted the profound significance of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday and renewing allegiance to the Messenger of Allah.

He noted that the Yemeni people’s celebration of the Prophet’s birth reflects their loyalty and connection to him, as well as their commitment to following his example in confronting injustice and arrogance.

Ubad stated, ‘As the Yemeni people commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), they bear the responsibility of defending the nation’s causes and sacred values under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.’

He also emphasized the Yemenis’ pride in celebrating this occasion, which coincides with their heroic stance in supporting Palestine. He confirmed that Yemen’s unwavering and principled support for the Palestinian people and their coura
geous resistance stems from their faith-based identity.

Ubad pointed out that Yemenis were among the first to celebrate the Prophet and support him, spreading the message of Islam.

He urged mobilization for the central event to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday, noting that all departments in the Capital Secretariat are working tirelessly to prepare and organize the central celebration of this significant occasion.

Hammoud al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee, remarked that the Yemeni celebration of the Prophet’s birthday serves as a spiritual opportunity to strengthen the bond with Allah and the Prophet, and to follow his path for the betterment of the nation.

He considered the victories achieved by the Yemeni people and armed forces against the forces of arrogance as a result of their allegiance to the Prophet and adherence to his teachings.

Al-Naqeeb highlighted Yemen’s positions under the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi in supporting and aiding the Palestinian people
and their brave resistance, as part of the promised victory and holy jihad.
