The Iraqi security forces announced the killing of one of its members and the wounding of two others in an explosive device explosion in western Iraq.
A security source said in a press statement that a member of the security forces was killed and two others were wounded when an explosive device exploded targeting their patrol on the Baiji-Haditha road in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.
In a related context, the Security Media Cell announced the arrest of two ISIS elements in Anbar and Sulaymaniyah provinces, northern Iraq.
The Counter-Terrorism Service carried out a series of specialized operations in various provinces, where forces in Anbar province arrested an ISIS element, and another ISIS element was arrested in Sulaymaniyah province, the Cell indicated in a press statement It added that the Counter-Terrorism Service elements, as part of the raid duties, were able to blow up 5 hideouts in the Hamrin Mountains, northern Iraq.
