Hillah, The River Police affiliated with the Babylon Police Command recovered the bodies of two drowned people from the Euphrates River passing through the village of Albu Alwan, affiliated with Al-Mahawil District, north of Hillah, the center of the governorate.
The Director of Media for Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said: “The two drowned people are engineers from Baghdad, and they were working for the Oil Projects Company, and they drowned due to the capsizing of a boat they were riding to cross the Hillah River from the Albu Alwan area to the other bank within Al-Nakhila area.
