Batili briefed Al-Dabaiba about his visit to Sudan and Chad.

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba,” received today, Monday, at the Cabinet Bureau, the envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, “Abdullah Batili” and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Najla al-Manqoush.”

During the meeting, Batili gave a briefing on his visit to the states of Sudan and Chad, his meeting with heads of state and defense ministers to discuss the exit of foreign fighters in accordance with international coordination, as well as the Benghazi meeting the past two days regarding security coordination, his visit to the city of Sebha and the results of his meetings there.

Batili praised the meeting that was held during the past days, in the presence of all the mayors of Libya under the auspices of the government of national unity, which is considered an affirmation of Libya’s unity and stability, as he described it.

During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba affirmed the support of the government of national unity for the efforts of the UN envoy in all tracks to bring our country to the elections.

In turn, Al-Manqoush provided a briefing on the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Chadian and Sudanese file and the reconciliation between the conflicting parties to build upon within the efforts of the UN mission.
