Basra Governor, Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee Asaad Al-Eidani announced the arrest of the perpetrators of the failed robbery operation on Safwan Road.
Al-Eidani said in a press statement, “A force in the police thwarted an attempt to rob a Chevrolet Tahoe in Al-Zubair District on Safwan Road near the petrochemical plant.
He added, “Two young men riding a Jarjar type vehicle tried to rob the vehicle, but Basra Police Command responded urgently and quickly dealt with the incident and arrested them.
