Basra heavy and medium crude prices rose on Wednesday, despite the decline in oil prices in global markets.
Basra heavy crude prices rose 89 cents to $72.39, and Basra medium crude prices rose 89 cents to $75.39.
Oil prices fell, amid expectations that the political conflict that halted exports from major Libyan ports may be resolved and concerns about slowing global demand growth.
