The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned on Sunday the Israeli occupation attacks on the Nuseirat camp in Gaza, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of Palestinians, mostly women and children.
In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the attacks a flagrant violation of human rights and international humanitarian law.
The ministry renewed the Kingdom’s call for the international community, especially the members of the United Nations Security Council, to urgently intervene to ensure an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and to enforce the implementation of international resolutions related to the protection of Palestinians.
The statement stressed the importance of the full, safe, sustainable and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid and the primacy of diplomatic solutions to end the destructive war that has been going on for more than eight months, and to reach peace negotiations to protect the rights of Palestinians and establish their independent state with East Jer
usalem as the capital.
