Security forces found the body of a mother and her child north of Baghdad.
A statement by the Baghdad Operations Command stated that: “After receiving information indicating the presence of a “body of a mother and her child” in the Boub al-Sham area east of the capital, Baghdad, a force from the Federal Police immediately headed to the scene of the incident, and after the initial investigation, gathering information and investigation, the perpetrator was reached and arrested inside his home in the Basmaya complex and handed over to the competent authorities after filing a lawsuit by the relatives of the victims to complete the legal procedures against him.”
