Our national football team striker Ayman Hussein was transferred to a hospital in the State of Kuwait to undergo lung surgery after being injured in the Oman match.
The decision to transfer Ayman Hussein to Kuwait came to avoid air transport and complications due to atmospheric pressure and the proximity of the State of Kuwait to Basra on the land route.
Ayman Hussein suffered a chest injury after participating in a cross and colliding with his colleague Youssef Al-Amin and the Omani defender.
It is noteworthy that Ayman Hussein scored the winning goal in yesterday’s match against the Omani national team in the decisive qualifiers for the World Cup and was also chosen as the best player in the match.
