Anti-organized crime squads in Diwaniyah arrested 4 people on charges of human trafficking.
The Anti-Crime Directorate stated in a statement that: “After receiving intelligence information indicating that there are people who are trafficking in patients and sending them to some doctors and defrauding them by human traffickers, exploiting the patient’s condition, specifically in Doctors Street.
A specialized working team was formed by the Anti-Organized Crime Department in cooperation with the Health Inspection Department in Diwaniyah and arrested 4 people, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them and they were presented to the investigating judge for the purpose of determining their fate”.
