Anti-Corruption Commission refers 11 defendants in two corruption cases to prosecution


The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority, in its weekly meeting today, headed by the head of the authority, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, approved the referral of 11 defendants to the prosecution in two serious corruption cases that harm the state’s interest in supplies to a productive institution.

The case is referred to the prosecution, to complete the procedures for filing a criminal case before them before the Public Funds and Anti-Corruption Court.

The amount of damage amounted to one million and 212 thousand dollars, in addition to damaging state lands and real estate in one of the governorates and facilitating their seizure.

The Commission also took a number of measures related to corruption reports.
