An American nuclear submarine crossed the Suez Canal into the Red Sea

The “Israel Defense” magazine revealed that the American nuclear submarine that the United States sent to the Gulf waters crossed the Suez Canal to the Red Sea last Friday.

Spokesman for the US Fifth Fleet announced that the Florida submarine entered the area on Thursday and crossed the Suez Canal on Friday.

The Israeli military magazine said that the American submarine carried 154 Tomahawk missiles.

The US Navy announced that the nuclear-powered submarine and guided missile carrier “Florida” is now operating in the Middle East, in support of the Fifth Fleet stationed in the Red and Mediterranean seas.

Spokesman for the Fifth Fleet, Timothy Hawkins, said the Florida submarine entered the area Thursday and transited the Suez Canal on Friday.

He stated that the submarine is armed with 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles and will join the Fifth Fleet to “help establish security and stability in the region.”
