Basra Police arrested a suspect who stole a woman’s bag in the Abbasiya area.
The Basra Police Command said in a statement, ‘After following up on the incident of stealing a woman’s bag in Basra and publishing pictures of the thief on social media sites riding a motorcycle, a team was immediately formed from the Anti-Crime Division in Basra to track down the perpetrators and collect information, and through the efforts made, the accused was found, where an elaborate ambush was set up and in record time he was arrested.
