Najaf The Information Technology Center at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) has started, as part of the Arbaeen visit plan, to provide and install surveillance cameras in order to monitor the movement of visitors and maintain their safety from a security perspective.

The head of the Audio-Visual Technology Division at the Information Technology Center, Mustafa Al-Hakim, told the news center: “It is the responsibility of the support division to monitor the cameras and follow up on the security and surveillance work and display them. The plan has been supported by 3,000 surveillance cameras, including cameras equipped with facial recognition technology to detect wanted persons and notify the concerned authorities to ensure the safety of visitors.”
