Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed, today, Saturday, the absence of intersection between members of the House of Representatives and members of the provincial councils.

A statement from his media office stated that al-Sudani received, today, Saturday, members of the House of Representatives for Anbar Governorate, Anbar Governor Mohammed Nouri al-Karbouli, and the head of the provincial council Omar Mishaan al-Dulaimi, and members of the provincial council, in the presence of the general coordinator of the provinces Ahmed Abdul Zahra al-Fatlawi.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of service projects and infrastructure projects that the government intends to implement in the province, in addition to reviewing major strategic projects in Anbar in light of the priorities of the government program and its targets.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister directed to hold a special meeting with him tomorrow, in the presence of the Minister of Education and the Governor of Anbar to resolve the
file of lecturers in the province’s schools.

Al-Sudani said: “The government is working in all governorates within a well-studied scientific approach that takes into account the needs of the governorates and works in parallel in each of them to improve the service and living reality, meet the aspirations of citizens, and prepare the appropriate infrastructure to achieve economic development.” Al-Sudani stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the executive and legislative authorities, and emphasizing the integration of work between local governments and governorate councils. He also stressed the lack of intersection between members of the House of Representatives and members of governorate councils, and the need to prioritize the national interest over political calculations, and that serving the citizen is the ultimate goal for all.”
