The Greater Salt Municipality, in collaboration with the German Savings Banks Association and with the support of the German International Cooperation (GIZ), has launched a training program titled “Small Business Simulation.”

This initiative is part of the broader “Innovative Approaches to Financial Inclusion for Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises” project.

The training program is designed to improve the financial management skills of individuals and small business owners, aiming to enhance their capacity to save and effectively manage their enterprises.

The Mayor of Greater Salt, Mohammad Al-Hiyari, highlighted the municipality’s commitment to supporting youth and empowering women. He noted that the organization of such training workshops, along with efforts to strengthen connections with local and international donors, reflects the municipality’s broader vision.

Through the program, participants have gained critical skills in areas such as financial literacy, small business management, revenue account
ing, sales forecasting, and the preparation of final accounts. The training also improved their supplier management capabilities, which is expected to increase their prospects for success in the business sector.
