Al-Qassam Brigades displays scenes of an Israeli secret ambush

Gaza – Ma’an – The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, showed footage of “ensnaring an Israeli army mechanized infantry company in a tight ambush east of Jabalia camp” in the southern Gaza Strip.

The military media of the “Qassam” published a video clip showing “the planning stage of the ambush”, and “the area of ??the killing: the Shawaaz bomb, the armored personnel carrier, the Ra’ad bomb, the anti-personnel bomb, and the supply line.”

The footage showed, according to the video, “the preparation stage” for the ambush, and “the preparation stage to target the rescue forces,” while a “Qassam” fighter appeared “reading a book entitled “The Devouring Storm” while waiting for the target to arrive,” and other fighters with weapons.

One of the Qassam fighters sent a message to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant, reminding him of a statement he made at the beginning of the battle that he ‘saw Hamas being defeated,’ saying: ‘God willing, by God we see Israel being defeated, and the world will witness n
ot your defeat but your demise, for this land is not big enough for two, it is big enough for one people, the Palestinian people, God willing. We will trample on your necks, either us or you, and the days will tell,’ he said.

The video showed “two Merkava vehicles passing by the ambush,” with the military media indicating that “they were not dealt with while waiting for the jeeps.”

The video documented “monitoring the enemy’s movement and the moment the explosive devices exploded in the jeeps,” in addition to “the effects of the explosion of the Shawaaz explosive device,” and “targeting soldiers hiding behind a Hummer jeep after detonating the explosive devices with the Al-Yassin 105 shell.”

The footage, according to the video, showed “targeting rescue forces, detonating a Shawaaz bomb, and evacuating the enemy’s dead and wounded.”

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced today, Monday, that it “targeted two Zionist Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells near Al-Sirat Mosque in the Al-Janina neighborhood in the
city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.”

She added in another statement: “Qassam fighters were able to detonate an anti-personnel explosive device, “Radhiyya”, at a number of occupation soldiers while they were trying to enter a house, killing and wounding them near Al-Sirat Mosque in Al-Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.”
