Ahmed al-Musawa, the acting governor of Taiz, and Dr. Nasher al-Qoud, the Deputy Minister of Health and Environment, inaugurated a new dialysis center at the military hospital in Taiz on Wednesday.

The center, which includes 20 beds and state-of-the-art dialysis machines, has been established with the support of the Ministry of Health and Environment.

The opening ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including the governor’s deputy, Nour Al-Din Al-Marani, and Brig. Gen. Mohammed al-Khaled, the assistant commander of the Fourth Military Region.

Al-Musawa praised the Ministry’s efforts in equipping and operating the new center, highlighting its crucial role in enhancing healthcare for kidney failure patients in the province.

Al-Musawa noted that the inauguration of the dialysis center aligns with the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyad Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat.

The new facility is part of a
broader initiative to improve health infrastructure and provide essential services to patients, especially amidst ongoing national celebrations marking the Prophet’s birthday and the September 21 revolution.

Dr. al-Qaoud emphasized that the new dialysis center represents a significant advancement in health services for Taiz, addressing the needs of kidney failure patients who require regular treatments. He expressed commitment to improving medical services despite the challenging circumstances Yemen faces due to ongoing conflict and blockade.

Dr. Abdulmalik al-Mutawakil, the Director of the Health and Environment Office in Taiz, also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health and Environment and the local authorities for their unwavering support and dedication to enhancing the health sector in the province.
