Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandlawi said we expressed our strong rejection and resentment towards the Zionist terrorist entity at the Inter-Parliamentary Union conference in Geneva.

He added in a tweet on the X platform: We have recorded our withdrawal from the meeting hall, as it is unreasonable and unacceptable to allow the killers of children, women and the elderly to talk about international charters, resolutions and humanitarian laws. This group stained with the blood of civilians must be isolated, despised and punished in international forums for its brutal crimes. It is shameful that the platform of the largest gathering of representatives of peoples is tainted with the poisons and lies of an occupying entity.

He added that Iraq’s position will always remain biased and supportive of the issues of its nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian right to regain the entire land, and rejecting all the criminal practices of the Zionist death machine in Palestine, Lebanon and
all the countries of the region, from killing innocents, blowing up hospitals, demolishing schools, destroying residential buildings and infrastructure, bombing shelter centers and camps, starving and displacing civilians, in addition to targeting Muslim references and assassinating their symbols, and we will never be except in the trench of hostility and hatred for this rebellious and malicious group occupying the land of Palestine.
