Baghdad: The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, congratulated the Iraqi Media Network for winning first place in the twenty-fourth Arab Radio and Television Festival held in Tunisia.

Al-Lami said in a statement: ‘This victory is a clear deserving of the network, given the distinguished performance and development it is working on through the media material provided and the purposeful content it provides,’ noting: ‘The Journalists Syndicate praises this great success and confirms its support and assistance to the network, its management and staff in order to continue the process of development and advancement to serve our beloved Iraq.’

The Iraqi Media Network won first places in the 24th Arab Radio and Television Festival held in Tunisia.

The network won eight awards, winning first place with the TV Program Exchanges Award, first place with the Comprehensive Program Exchanges Award, and first place with the Radio Program Exchanges Award at the festival.

The Al-Mustansiriya School pro
gram, ‘With Arab Eyes,’ produced by the Media Network, won the first prize for the festival. The Network also won first place with the Pioneers of Scientific Research Award in the Arab World for the Thought Pioneer Ibn al-Haytham program, as well as the first prize for news exchange and news coordination. Radio of the Republic of Iraq won a special appreciation award from the festival.
