National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji received in his office today the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, John Nicholas Booz, on the occasion of the end of his duties in Iraq.
According to the advisory statement, Al-Araji appreciated the work of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the efforts made by the head of the commission in working with the Iraqi side, regarding the humanitarian file and the efforts of the Iraqi government in following up on the conditions of refugees with the High Commissioner, praising at the same time the role of the international community and its cooperation with Iraq in this important humanitarian file.
Al-Araji also discussed with the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees the support of the commission to end the file of the displaced, which came within the direction of the Iraqi government in its government program.
