Baghdad, The head of the Al-Nasr coalition, Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office, today, Tuesday, the head of the United Nations mission in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert.
During the meeting, according to a statement by Abadi’s office, they discussed the criminal operations that the Palestinian people are exposed to at the hands of the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip, and the importance of having an international position to stop these crimes.
Al-Abadi stressed the need for the United Nations to fulfill its duty and role and put pressure on the countries of the world to stop and condemn the crimes committed by the Zionist entity.
While Plasschaert expressed her support for the statements of the Secretary-General of the United Nations on the necessity of stopping the fire and the crimes being committed, and bringing in humanitarian aid.
The latest developments in the situation in Iraq were also discussed, and the importance of continuing reforms in all sectors.
