Al-Gharafa lost 0-3 to Iranian Esteghlal FC in their AFC Champions League Elite 2024/25 opener at the Shahr-e Qods Stadium on Monday.
Abdalla Yousif’s own goal and Ramin Rezaeian and Arash Rezavand sealed the win for Esteghlal.
Al-Gharafa lost their first three points in the tournament. The team will play a tough match in the second round against Al-Ain in Doha. (QNA)
