A joint force from the National Security Service, in cooperation with the Babylon Police, arrested today, Sunday, one of those sentenced to death for committing a murder several years ago.
A source in the force said, “The joint force carried out an ambush in the Abu Gharaq district, west of Hillah, to arrest a person sentenced in absentia to death for committing a murder several years ago, and the force was able to arrest him.
He added that the police transferred the convict to the competent authorities to implement the sentence issued against him.
