A security delegation headed by Yarallah arrives at the site of the criminal incident in Zgheitoun area of Kirkuk

The Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, the arrival of a security delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, to the site of the criminal incident in Zgheiton area of Kirkuk.

The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement: “The delegation included the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, the Commander of the Land Forces, and the Director of Military Intelligence.”

Earlier yesterday, Wednesday, the Security Media Cell stated that four members of the security forces were martyred in an ambush by the terrorist organization “ISIS” in Kirkuk.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement, “At 10:00 on Wednesday, while a force from the Intelligence of the 42nd Brigade of the 11th Division in the army was leaving to carry out a reconnaissance and inspection duty in Zgheiton Valley within the Kirkuk Operations Command Sector, the force was ambushed by ISIS terr
orist gangs, which led to the martyrdom of 4 fighters and the injury of 3 others with light wounds.
