Today, Saturday, Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi headed a high-level security delegation to supervise the follow-up and implementation of the visit plan to the two Askari imams, peace be upon them.
Al-Abbasi said in a tweet that he “headed a high-level security delegation that included the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais al-Muhammadawi, the Assistant Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, and the Commander of the Ground Forces, on a visit to the city of Samarra to supervise the follow-up and implementation of the visit plan to the two Askari imams, peace be upon them.”
