A joint force from the National Security Service, in cooperation with the Babylon Police, arrested a person carrying a thousand counterfeit dollars in an ambush in the western Hamza district, south of Hillah, who was trying to exchange it in the local market.
A source in the force said, “A joint force was able to arrest a person in his possession of a thousand counterfeit dollars this evening, Friday, who was trying to exchange it in the local market in the western Hamza district, south of Hillah.
He added that the police transferred the accused to the competent authorities for investigation, and the items were seized.
