A delegation from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Oil, headed by the Head of the Africa Department, Ghazi Al-Tubi, held an expanded meeting with their Ugandan counterparts, headed by the Senior Undersecretary of the Ugandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Philip Wadeda, at the headquarters of the Ugandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the Head of the Africa Department presented a comprehensive presentation on the economic renaissance and security stability currently witnessed in Iraq.

The delegation also held talks with several sectors, including security, international cooperation, energy, agriculture, investment, and capacity building. The Ugandan side reviewed the possible opportunities and prospects for cooperation with Iraq.

Al-Tubi stressed the importance of framing cooperation between the two countries by concluding agreements and memoranda of understanding to ensure the continuity of cooperation in a manner that serves common interests.

The meeting was attended by the represen
tative of the President of the Republic of Uganda, and representatives of the Ministries of Labor and Energy and the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
