The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Prisoners Club said that Israeli forces have arrested more than 9,750 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Al-Quds, since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The Authority and the Prisoners Club explained in a joint statement today, Sunday, that this toll includes those who were arrested from their homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.

The Israeli authorities continue to carry out extensive raids and abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families during the arrest campaigns, in addition to widespread acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes.

The official Wafa News Agency reported that these arrest campaigns constitute the most prominent fixed and systematic policies used by the Israeli forces, and are also among the most prominent tools of the collective punishment policy, which also constitutes a cent
ral tool for Tel Aviv in targeting citizens in light of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The Israeli forces continue their bombardment of various areas of the Gaza Strip, leaving dozens of dead, wounded and devastated.
