The Energy Police Forces arrested (4) defendants and seized their vehicles prepared for smuggling petroleum products in Baghdad, Karbala, and Diwaniyah.
The Energy Police Directorate stated in a statement that, in separate operations, detachments of the 3rd and 6th Energy Police Brigades arrested (4) defendants and seized their vehicles intended for smuggling petroleum products in the governorates of Baghdad, Karbala, and Diwaniyah due to multiple violations, and legal measures were taken against them in accordance with Law No. 41 of 2008, Concerning combating oil and its derivatives.
