2,350 Lebanese martyred in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in a year

The Crisis Response Unit in Lebanon announced that 41 people were martyred and 124 others were wounded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of martyrs during a year of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah to 2,350 and 10,906 wounded.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that the Crisis Response Unit report also recorded 146 airstrikes and shelling incidents during the past day, most of them in southern Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut and the Bekaa region.

The report indicated that 1,067 centers, including educational complexes, vocational institutes, universities and other institutions, house 188,652 people, including 41,894 families, displaced due to the Israeli attack on Lebanon. Of these shelters, 881 have reached their maximum capacity.

The fighting in Lebanon has displaced 1.2 million people from their homes, including more than 400,000 children, according to a senior official at the United Nations Children’s Agency.
