Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested (22) defendants wanted by the judiciary for criminal offences, promoting and using narcotic substances, and possessing unlicensed weapons, in different areas of the capital.
The Command stated in a statement: ‘The arrest of the accused was carried out through the joint Command detachments and the duties of establishing sudden and temporary controls, and (5) pistols and (5) rifles of different types were seized along with a number of wheels and motorcycles violating traffic controls, and a quantity of narcotic substances and their administration devices, in addition to expired medications, on the Karkh and Rusafa sides.’
