Kuwait Crown Prince congratulates Saudi King on power assumption anniv.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations on Saturday to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the 10th anniversary of his assumption of power.

His Highness applauded the developments and achievements of the kingdom during the rule of King Salman.

His Highness also wished King Salman a long healthy life and more development and prosperity for Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud.

Karbala hotels receive dozens of Lebanese families

The head of the Hotel and Tourism Association, Mohammed Al-Har, said that dozens of Lebanese families were received by the city’s hotels and all their requirements were provided free of charge.

He added to the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA/ that this was done in coordination between the Hotel and Tourism Restaurants Association in Karbala with the al-Abbasi Holy Shrine and the Governor’s Office.

He explained that there is an intention to receive new batches of these families and that the hotels that will receive them will be determined until the end of the crisis.

The Ministry of Immigration announced the registration of more than 635 Lebanese citizens in the holy Karbala and Najaf.

The Ministry of Immigration said in a statement, “Based on the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and the Minister of Immigration and Displacement Evan Faiq Jabro, the Ministry’s cadres in the holy Karbala and holy Najaf governorates continue to receive and register Lebanese families coming to Iraq due to the ongoing brutal Zionist aggression on Lebanon, as 635 Lebanese citizens were registered to be included in the database prepared for this purpose.

It explained that the Ministry’s teams also continue, in cooperation with the holy shrines in Karbala and Najaf governorates, to provide all necessary requirements and facilities for them.

The World Health Organization announced today, Saturday, that Lebanon is facing a major health crisis, noting that 73 employees in the Lebanese health sector were killed as a result of the Israeli attack on the country.

The organization said in a post on its page on the “X” platform, “Lebanon is facing a major health crisis, as there are: 1974 dead, 9384 wounded, 346209 displaced.

The organization added that the Israeli forces launched 34 attacks on health care facilities, killing 73 health workers and wounding 67 others.

The Civil Defense Operations Room of the Islamic Health Authority in Lebanon announced yesterday, Friday, the killing of a number of paramedics as a result of the Israeli bombing of ambulance crews in the town of Marjeyoun.

The Israeli forces target paramedics and rescue crews in Lebanon repeatedly and deliberately, as a Lebanese soldier was killed on Thursday while participating in a rescue operation in a village in southern Lebanon accompanied by a Red Cross crew.

The Chief of Staff of the Army visits Anbar Operations Sector to assess the security situation and the readiness of the military units

The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, visited the Anbar Operations Sector today, Saturday, to assess the security situation and the readiness of the military units.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that Yarallah visited the Anbar Operations Sector, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, the Commander of the Land Forces, the Deputy Director of Military Intelligence, the Director of the Planning Authority for the Land Forces Command, and the Secretary of Intelligence for the Chief of Staff of the Army. He was received by the Commander of Operations, the Commander of the Tenth Infantry Division, and the Commander of the Habbaniyah Base.

The first stop, according to the statement, was a visit to the base, during which he listened to a detailed briefing on the tasks, functions, and readiness of the base and its joints, in addition to the most important obstacles and ways to address them by proposing solutions to secure its requir
ements.

The second stop was a visit to the Operations Command, where a security meeting was held during which the concerned parties provided a detailed explanation of the sector of responsibility and the distribution of units to ensure protection of roads, borders and the desert in cooperation with the rest of the security services. Yarallah directed the leaders and commanders to be cautious and careful in dealing with the current situation and security challenges.

The next stop for the Chief of Staff of the Army, according to the statement, was a visit to the headquarters of the 10th Infantry Division to view the buildings and other joints recently constructed through self-efforts. He praised the members of the division, including officers, ranks and technical cadres.

After that, Yarallah visited Habbaniyah site command and listened to a briefing on the command’s tasks, joints and challenges facing the workflow.
