Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets French President’s Envoy to Lebanon

Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met on Thursday with HE French President’s Envoy to Lebanon Jean-Yves Le Drian, who is visiting the country.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and ways to de-escalate the situation and enhance humanitarian support for those affected by the war in Lebanon. In addition, they discussed a number of topics of common interest.

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Thursday with HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra, on the sidelines of the 3rd Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit (ACD), held in Doha.

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, especially in investment and education. In addition, they discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

The Islamic Resistance Hezbollah announced the killing and wounding of more than 20 officers and soldiers by explosive devices we detonated against elite forces that tried to advance outside Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun.

Hezbollah said: The explosive devices were recently planted in order to monitor and follow the enemy’s movements, and some of them were planted in the last hours before the explosion.
