Kuwait Amir’s Representative returns home from Qatar

The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah — accompanied by an official delegation — on Thursday returned home after a visit to the State of Qatar.

Earlier, His Highness the Amir Representative departed Doha after heading the State of Kuwait delegation at the third summit of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), held in the Qatari capital.

He was accompanied during his visit to the State of Qatar by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya and senior officials from the Crown Prince Diwan.

HH the Amir Directs Sending Urgent Medical, Relief Aid to Brethren in Lebanon

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani directed on Thursday to send urgent medical and relief aid to the brethren in the Republic of Lebanon to contribute to addressing the displacement crisis resulting from the recent developments.

This aid comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s supportive stance towards the Republic of Lebanon and its constant support for the fraternal Lebanese people.

Kuwaiti official: Kuwait is investing in human resources, reforming education

The visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Higher Educational Dr. Nader Al-Jalal on Thursday affirmed the Kuwaiti Government’s concern for investing in human resources and reforming the educational system.

Dr. Al-Jalal, also the Minister of Scientific Research and the Acting Minister of Education, affirmed necessity of tackling the “challenges and hazards” hampering efforts for attaining development in the Muslim nations.

Dr. Al-Jalal’s statement was addressed on his behalf by the assistant undersecretary for educational installations and planning at the Ministry of Education Mohammad Al-Khaldi at the two-day conference of education ministers in the Muslim World (organized by ISESCO) that kicked off on Wednesday.

The State of Kuwait is steadily seeking to form a promising generation, under command of His Highness the Amir Sheilkh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, within frmaework of the neo Kuwait vision 2035, he said.

He alluded to the Amir’s Address to the Nation, where he affirmed the leadership’s concern for t
he human factor as the country’s key capital, re-affirming that the State of Kuwait is engaged in reforming the educational system to generate a skilled and competent labor force at the national level.

Moreover, Dr. Al-Jalal, in his words read by the assistant undersecretary Al-Khaldi, also referred to His Highness the Amir recommendation that the concerned quarters remain abreast of the rapid changes and informed about the technological innovations and the artificial intelligence.

He expressed gratitude to the Sultanate and ISESCO for organizing the convention.

For his part, Al-Khaldi said in his personal capacity in a statement to KUNA that the conference was held amid rapid quick transformation “in the era of technology and the artificial intelligence,” calling for tightening the gap at this level with the advanced nations.

The event grouped more than 31 representatives of educational ministries in Arab nations, officials from ISESCO (Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and
ALESCO (Arab League of Educational, Scientific, Cultural Organization), experts from UN agencies, regional and international organizations.

HH the Amir Directs Providing Necessary Resources to Support Displaced, Those Affected by Aggression on Lebanon

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has directed the immediate provision of all necessary resources to provide humanitarian and relief support to all displaced persons and those affected by the aggression on Lebanon.

In a post on his official X account, HH the Amir said that the failure of the international community to stop the war on Gaza was a green light to expand the conflict without the slightest degree of responsibility by the aggressors. HH the Amir stressed the State of Qatar’s full support for Lebanon and its fraternal people against the brutal attacks they are being subjected to, directing rapid action and the provision of all necessary resources to provide humanitarian and relief support to all displaced persons and those affected by this aggression.

Earlier, His Highness the Amir Representative headed the State of Kuwait delegation at the third summit of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), held in the Qatari capital Doha.

He and his entourage were seen off at the airport by the Qatari Minister of State Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Saud al-Thani, the State of Kuwait Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Khaled Badr Al-Mutairi, and the State of Qatar Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Ali bin Abdullah al-Mahmoud.

133 individuals stripped of the Kuwaiti citizenship — commission

The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Supreme Committee to Investigate the Kuwaiti Citizenship.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the commission decided to strip 133 individuals of the Kuwaiti citizenship, indicating that the decision would be submitted to the cabinet.

Crown Prince of Kuwait Leaves Doha

Doha: HH Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left Doha Thursday, following his participation in the 3rd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit (ACD).

His Highness and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure from Doha International Airport by HE Minister of State Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-Thani, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the State of Kuwait Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, and HE Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the State of Qatar Khaled bin Badr Al Mutairi.
