The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research held its first consultative meeting with the rectors of governmental and private universities in the capital Sana’a on Monday, under the theme “Mercy to the Worlds.”

Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan al-Sa’adi highlighted the significance of the meeting coinciding with the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s birth.

Al-Sa’adi emphasized the importance of using this occasion to commence the ministry’s work and encouraged participants to embody the Prophet’s values in their educational roles.

He outlined the ministry’s commitment to serving students, society, and the country in alignment with Quranic principles.

Al-Sa’adi urged educators to elevate the scientific, cultural, and moral standards of students and to foster a spirit of faith, ethics, and humanity in educational settings.

The minister also addressed the need for independent decision-making and tailored educational programs to meet national interests, stressing the ministry’s dedic
ation to addressing challenges faced by both public and private universities.

Participants affirmed their support for the Government of Change and Construction’s directives, highlighting the deep-rooted tradition of commemorating the Prophet’s birthday in Yemen as a reflection of the nation’s faith and historical support for the Prophet.
